boom saloon

Boom saloon exists as three separate branches consisting of a print magazine, community projects and creative studio. The website needed to undergo a redesign to communicate the brand more clearly while becoming more accessible and sustainable.

boomsaloon.com

boom saloon is working to be as sustainable as possible and wanted the website to reflect this goal. It was important to them to approach this project with a sustainability first approach, while thinking about how this new website would cater to the needs of their community and tie in with their new membership program they wanted to introduce simultaneously.

After completing user testing, it was decided that the features section of the website would be refreshed every two months. This would keep the carbon weight of the website low and worked well in conjunction with the new membership scheme, as members alone would be allowed to download a PDF version of the features to keep.
